Does it matter what shoe it is. For example white vans

are you asking me if I can paint on shoes for you or if you want to try to paint on shoes for yourself? For me, it doesn’t matter what kind of shoe, I have painted on leather and canvas. So yes, I could paint on white Vans. If you’re asking for yourself, you need leather paints to paint on leather sneakers and acrylic to paint on canvas ones.

how do you get them to be waterproof afterwards? the shows look amazing and the detail on them is astounding. It would be great kind of project to do at my job working with kids at an after school program..

The paint is pretty good after application (I’ve worn pairs in the rain with no problems) but if you need to, you can easily apply a matte finish or get some weather proofing spray that they sell in shoe stores. I’ve done workshops on this at education seminars, teaching other teachers how to do this as a project. If you email me at kohlscustoms@gmail.com I can send you the sheets I created for the workshops

You are amazing; I tried painting my own shoes…. And 70 dollars lost. So I just wanted an estimate on how much a pair of customs would cost. The following would be on it Toon link, toon Zelda, Pokémon (any), (pixel) Mario and Luigi, Kirby, Lucas and ness, N64 controller, Sega genesis controllers, Olimar and pikman, and some Nintendo logos whatever you wish. I’m just posting it the reply’s because I just want an estimate and Thank you for reading.

That’s a lot of detail on a pair of shoes. Something like that would cost $400 to create
